Wake Up To World Poverty Benefit Concert

A Special Thanks to all of those who donated their time, talents and financial support.  A great time was had by all!

 THE BANDS

We are extremely thankful to all of the bands who have agreed to donate their time and talent in support of this cause. Without them, this event would not be possible.

Kydd & Byrd:  Acoustic Duo playing music from the Sixties through today including covers of Simon and Garfunkel, Indigo Girls, America, Crosby, Stills, and Nash,  the Beatles, CCR, and a few of their own.

Lil' Rock Band: A local 4 man group plays all your rock favorites.

kalikalor: A festive 10 piece Latin band with members from Mexico, Colombia & Puerto Rico playing "Cumbia"  from today's well known artists plus a few of their own.

 FOOD & DRINK

 With the help of

 in Verona, we will have food available for purchase including brats, burgers, chips and fabulous deserts and a variety ice cold refreshments.

DONATIONS APPRECIATED

 Suggested donation for admission is $10 per adult or $25 per family, children 12 and under free. A brief presentation will be made to highlight the work of the ministry and to offer opportunities for involvement. Information on mission trip opportunities will be provided and child sponsorship packets will be available profiling mal-nourished children who are currently awaiting sponsors. Volunteers will be available to answer questions and provide more details about history and programs of Outreach for World Hope.   If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation to this important cause, please click here.

The benefit concert will be held on the spacious country acreage of Bill and Tammy Dresser. There will be picnic tables available for seating, but it is also recommended to bring a lawn chair or two.

Directions from Madison, West Beltline:

Go westbound on US 18 & 151 towards Verona

Take the 2^nd Verona exit, Hwy PB

Take a left at the lights onto Hwy PB

Proceed under the bridge, merging into the left hand lane to the 4 way stop of Hwy PB & Hwy M

At the 4-way stop take a left onto Hwy M towards Oregon approximately one mile

Davis Hill Drive will be on your right

Signs will be there to direct you further

Please follow posted parking instructions

Directions from Miller’s Supermarket, Verona:

Head south on Main Street out of town

Main Street turns into Hwy M, follow this to the 4-way stop of Hwy M & Hwy PB

Continue straight on Hwy M towards Oregon approximately one mile

Davis Hill Drive will be on your right hand side

Signs will be present to direct you further
