Let there
be peace on earth, and let it begin with me...
We at Outreach for World Hope wish to thank
all of you who have brought peace, love, hope
and joy to the desperately needy families of
drought and famine stricken Eastern Guatemala
this year.
Let there
be peace on earth, the peace that was meant to
be…
You have recognized that we who are blessed
have the responsibility to share God’s love and
blessings with others and you have generously
done so. Because of your commitment, our Child
Sponsorship Program has grown to 230 families
and countless lives have been saved.
With God as
our father, brothers all are we….
You have shown parents who cannot feed their
families that they are members of a bigger
family with God as its father, and that the love
of that family crosses cultural borders. You
have helped teach farmers to grow more
productive crops using new and improved drought
tolerant hybrid seeds and provided them with
fertilizers and insecticides in order to produce
more food.
Let me walk
with my brother, in perfect harmony…
You have walked with us up steep mountain
trails to isolated villages. You have walked
with us through orphanages and under-equipped
clinics and hospitals to share your love and
faith. You have walked with us through your
churches, work places and neighborhoods to
spread the word.
Let peace
begin with me, let this be the moment now…
You have recognized that life on earth is but
a moment and have focused on eternal things. You
have gathered treasures in heaven. You have
prayed for us in moments of challenge and joined
us in thanksgiving praise as God has protected
us and provided for our work in amazing ways.
With every
step I take, let this be my solemn vow…
We at OWH vow to continue to cherish each of
you as a vital part of our ministry and to
tirelessly share your love and hope with those
we serve. We vow to bring glory and honor to God
through the resources you so generously provide.
To take
each moment and live each moment in peace
eternally,
Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin
with me.
Peace and
Blessings,
Kim and Randy
